Many of us love a bag of sweet and salty popcorn now and then, but would you try sweet flavoured crisps? Well Kettle Chips have just released a new flavour, and to be honest, we’re not sure what to think.
Since the salted caramel trend began, we’ve tried it all, but when it comes to sweet flavoured crisps, we feel it may be a step too far.
Maybe it’s too much for our heads to handle, but sweet crisps?
Kettle Chips, the brand famous for their super tasty, proper hand cut crisps have just released Salted Caramel & Double Cream flavour ones, and they’re apparently inspired by the British seaside.
You can get them from Tesco where they’re reduced to just £1, or at Asda at £1.85 for a 130g sharer bag.

If you do want to try them, it’s best to keep them as a snack as they contain 151 calories per 30g serving. That works out at 600 calories per bag!
The new flavour is part of the brands Discoveries range which features other quirky flavours including; New York Deli with Pastrami, Dill Pickle & Mustard, Gressingham Duck, Plum Sauce & Spring Onion, and Yorkshire Wensleydale & Cox Apple Chutney. Though we think the Salted Caramel & Double Cream sweet flavour has to be the strangest.
So, do you think you’ll be giving the sweet new crisps a try?
