Two more rides shut at Alton Towers!

ITV news have just reported that not one, but TWO more rides have shut just days after the Smiler crash incident.

According to the news site Air and the Runaway Mine Train were reportedly shut just minutes after the theme park opened, after a large metal clip was feared to have dropped off one of the rides!

A spokeswoman for Alton Towers has said: ‘”All issues will be dealt with according to our stringent processes and rides will reopen as appropriate.”

Undoubtedly the recent events have put many people off the idea of visiting the theme park and I’m sure that these closures will only add to the negativity surrounding the park!

Many people are now left wondering whether the re-opening came too soon.
