Two more stores recall cheese due to harmful bacteria
Last week I posted a recall regarding Sainsbury’s cheese products.
The products had possible traces of Listeria monocytogenes which are particularly dangerous for pregnant women, young children, those with weakened immune systems and those over the age of 60 years old.
Asda and The Co-Operative are now also issuing urgent recalls.
The Co-operative Truly Irresistible Camembert 250g batch with a ‘use by’ date of 21 February 2016 is the only Co-operative product is now also being recalled. Customers are being advised not to consume the product and to instead return to the store for a full refund.
Asda Extra Special Camembert de Pays 250g with use by dates 14, 21 and 28 February 2016 have also been recalled.
