Urgent! Safety Recall On Distell Wines!

There has been another urgent safety recall issued by the trading standards institute and this time its bottles of Distell wines that are being labelled as a safety hazard.

The bottles of wine being sold in Tesco, Morrisons and Waitrose could contain small fragments of glass which obviously is extremely dangerous.

The following notice has been issued by Food Standards Agency: ‘Distell has recalled various bottles of wine because they might contain very small fragments of glass. The wines are sold by Morrisons, Tesco and Waitrose. If you have bought one of the products, do not use it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.’

The recalled products at risk are:

Morrisons

Nederburg 56 Hundred Pinot Grigio, 75cl
Lot numbers: LB118l14 and LB107J14

Danger Point Shiraz Rose, 75cl 
Lot number: LB129J14

Danger Point Cabernet Merlot, 75cl
Lot number: LB127K14

Danger Point Colombard Chardonnay, 75cl
Lot number: LB125K14

Tesco

Nederburg 56 Hundred Pinot Grigio, 75cl
Lot numbers: LB107J14 and LB111L14

Waitrose

Secret Cellar Pinot Grigio, 75cl
All lot numbers

No other Morrisons, Tesco or Waitrose products are known to be affected.
