Woman ‘squirted her breast milk’ at a complainer

The incident is said to have happened in a park in Dartford, Kent.

There was a post put onto ‘Dartford Gossip Page’ on Facebook which read; ”To the lady in Dartford park who thought it was appropriate to breastfeed her baby whist my child and very easily distracted husband sat nearby. I don’t think it was necessary for you to react the way you did just because I asked you to go somewhere private, telling me to fuck off and squirting me with your boobs was incredibly uncalled for. I hope you are ashamed of yourself!’

The post has caused quite a storm on social media with many coming to the breast feeding mothers defence while others attack her actions.

Anna Salmon said ”Her reaction is not on but why shouldn’t she feed her baby in public? I would have had a few choice words for you if you had asked me to go else where. There is something wrong with people who think seeing someone breastfeeding is inappropriate.”

Marion Bassett said ”Is it really her fault that your husband is so ease distracted”

Hayley Fewins said ”You should be ashamed of yourself! It’s hard enough to breast feed a baby let alone be judged for it in public! If I had to breastfeed my 3 month old in public I would permanently have my tits out! Your easily distracted husband clearly hasn’t seen a pair of tits in a while! Perhaps next time you’re out you should go and eat your dinner in the toilets…….I think not!”

Kerry Hornby said ”U should be the one who should feel ashamed, you are given breasts to feed your children and should never feel uncomfortable to do that. Good on the women for reacting like that, if you have a husband her has sexual feelings over a lady feeding her baby then maybe u should question your relationship. A women should be able to naturally feed her baby without people thinking its sexual, we are given breasts for a reason.”
A recent law protects the rights of breastfeeding mothers, who cannot be discriminated against in public by being asked to leave cafes, shops or public transport.
Guidance on the NHS England website tells parents: ‘You shouldn’t ever be made to feel uncomfortable about breastfeeding in public.

‘In fact, the Equality Act 2010 has made it illegal for anyone to ask a breastfeeding woman to leave a public place, such as a cafe, shop or public transport.
